Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as they define our reservation policy, responsibilities, and liabilities. By confirming a booking or commencing a tour with Hill Escape, you automatically agree to all the terms stated below.

In this document, “you”, “guest”, or “traveler” refers to the customer(s) availing services from Hill Escape, and “we”, “our”, or “management” refers to Hill Escape.

By sharing your contact details, you consent to receive booking-related communication, offers, and updates from Hill Escape. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from proceeding with the booking.

Payments & Booking Policy

• A minimum advance payment is mandatory to confirm any tour booking.
• The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before the tour commencement date unless otherwise agreed.
• Failure to pay the balance amount on time may result in automatic cancellation without any liability on Hill Escape.
• Any request for date change, hotel change, or vehicle change must be informed at least 10 days prior to the tour start date and must be made in writing.
• All modifications are subject to availability and may involve additional charges, which shall be borne by the guest.
• If a rescheduled tour costs less than the original booking, the advance amount will be adjusted against the final payment. No partial refund of advance will be provided.

Guest Information

To process bookings and permits, guests must provide accurate details including:
• Full name as per valid government ID
• Date of birth and nationality
• Any existing medical condition affecting travel

Guests are solely responsible for ensuring their fitness for travel. Hill Escape shall not be liable for any health-related issues arising during the tour due to undisclosed conditions.

Pricing Policy

• Tour prices may vary based on season, demand, availability, and market conditions.
• Prices are subject to change until booking is confirmed with advance payment.
• Once confirmed, the quoted price will be honored provided the advance is paid within the validity period.

Package Inclusions

• Arrival and departure assistance
• Accommodation and meals as per the selected package
• Transfers and sightseeing as per itinerary using AC / Non-AC vehicle
• Vehicle allocation may vary based on route and availability and may not remain the same throughout the tour

Package Exclusions

• Airfare / Train fare
• Personal expenses such as tips, laundry, phone calls, mineral water, liquor, insurance, etc.
• Extra vehicle usage beyond itinerary
• Activities not mentioned as included (ropeway, rafting, boating, toy train, yak ride, helicopter ride, safari, etc.)
• Any increase in government taxes, entry fees, or permits

Government Permits & Accommodation

• Government accommodation and permits require 100% advance payment.
• Part payment is not allowed for such bookings.
• No refund will be provided for cancellation of government accommodations or permits.
• In case a particular government lodge cannot be arranged due to availability, alternate accommodation will be provided, and no full refund will be applicable.

Cancellations & No-Show

• Cancellation charges will apply as per policy shared at the time of booking.
• No refund will be applicable for unused services or early departure.
• If the guest does not arrive on the scheduled date, it will be treated as a no-show, and the booking will be cancelled without refund.

Liabilities & Limitations

• Hill Escape is not responsible for delays or changes caused by weather, road conditions, landslides, strikes, political issues, pandemics, or natural calamities.
• In case of lockdowns or government restrictions, tours may be postponed but not cancelled; refunds will not be applicable.
• Hill Escape shall not be liable for loss of life, injury, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the tour.
• Itineraries are subject to change without prior notice due to unavoidable circumstances.
• Hill Escape reserves the right to cancel, modify, or discontinue services if required for safety or operational reasons.
• We reserve the right to discontinue services or remove a guest from the tour if they are found engaging in inappropriate, abusive, or unlawful behavior. No refund or compensation shall be provided in such cases.
